A CDC advisory committee has designated food and agriculture workers as frontline essential workers. Part of Phase 1b that includes first responders, educators and grocery store employees, this group should be next in line for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Kicked off Dec. 14, phase 1a included frontline health care workers and nursing home residents.
Phase 1b is expected to start in January.
